Final Filming Day

 Today my group and I finished filming except for one little scene. We forgot to print out four kid drawings for the opening scene. Instead, we each drew a picture and made it look like a little kids drawing. I drew four stick figures which resembled a mom, dad, older sister, and younger brother. I also wrote above 'my family". I capitalized the L and made the y backwards to give it that little kid effect. We did not get to film the first scene, so we have to do that next class. Since I had already filmed my scenes last class, I was on setup and filming duty. I filmed the second to last clip of the commercial and the second backpack scene. Once we filmed two second parts of the split screen scene I had to go back and forth to make sure everything lined up correctly. I also edited and shortened the clips to match up perfectly. This was very hard and stressful because it wasn't matching up. Finally I got it and we went on to the next scene. I set up a 'desk-like' background and also the floor scene. I had to give everything a little kid touch. Today was the hardest day of filming because the angles were difficult to get right. We switched around the scene and I had a lot of work to do. I got very stressed out because my group wasn't see eye to eye and I had to compromise a little bit. I was about to take Camille's spot in the second to last scene, but she ended up doing the shot correctly and we decided to keep it. Overall, despite the little step backs, we are almost done with filming and on our way to finalize everything.
