AICE Media Studies

Today my group and I finally got the chance to go outside and film. We found the perfect spot to do our fourth scene. I was in this scene with my other partner Camille. It was very hot outside today so I was sweaty and wanted to get inside. I walked into the scene and hugged Camille as we walked down the pathway. We only shot this scene two times and it was very easy to do. However, it was a popular pathway so we had to wait a bunch of times for people to walk. Then we walked all around school to see if there was another spot to shoot the scene. It was hard because we didn't want to get in others shots. We did not find another place and I suggested to go inside. When we were inside I started to setup the props for the second scene. I placed my notebook on the table and put an open glue stick on it. Then I put a binder on top of the notebook, along with the pack of Crayola colored pencils. I spilled my pencil case on the table and this gave it that messy kid effect. Next I grabbed t

First Scene:  In this scene,   we open with  a  scene containing a few jump-cuts  with hands  slamming  hand-drawn and colored  pictures  (4 total)   onto a table .   They  will be placed  side by side  in line  of the beat of  a count  to 4.  The entire scene will be shot at a high angle.   Second Sc ene:  The next scene  we wanted to include  two students  taking the colored pencils off a desk/table . The location will be inside a clas sroom  but will be made  to  look as if  the  students are packing their bags before school .  This scene will  be a split-screen, showing two different students  packing  the colored pencils.  Third Scene:  The third scene will be showing the two students putting the colored pencils  in the  backpack , which will also be a split screen.    Fourth Scene:  The fourth scene will show the two students  meeting together and walking  into the school , being happy and energetic.  This will help add to the fun a nd happy energy that is created in most Crayola

My group is doing a Crayola commercial. Crayola  commercials  usually include young kids at school coloring or dr a wing.           1. The kids' attire is either uniforms or bright and bubbly clothes, that are school appropriate.    2. Some props are things found in an elementary school classroom or a child's room. The classroom has desks, paper,  a  lot of paintings a nd posters, and school supplies.   3. The kids are happy and hanging out with their friends. They are laughing and having  a  good time in class.     4. The score through the commercials   are happy and up beat  to  appeal to  younger audiences and  get their attention.    5. The Crayola logo is a yellow and green circle that says Crayola with a rainbow looking smile underneath .  The Crayola slogan is “The Power of Creativity – Crayola – It Starts Here” which means that the  possibilities are endless. For the commercial project I am working with Sofia Grajales and Camille Keith. I just recently met the two of them though. Even though we just met, we are already the best of friends. We enjoy each others company and always have a great time when we are together. However, I haven't worked with them on a school project or assignment before. Working with friends can be tricky because it is easier to get sidetracked. Also, I don't know how their dedication is in school and how well they preform. Although, I am good at staying on task and making sure everything is getting done. Since we are all good friends there is very little doubt they will let me down in this project. I am a very hard worker especially when it comes to group projects. I always make sure to do my part. I hope that my partners have the same mentality as me because if they do we can work wonders on this project. I can only hope that they work well in groups.  Hello, my name is Kaitlyn Casella. I am in 10th grade and I am 15 years old. I enjoy cheerleading on my two all-star teams and playing tennis. I am a very active person and I love those two sports. I also like to cook and bake. Whenever I cook or bake I feel relaxed and calm. I can be very energetic and other times I am calm. I am excited to be in AICE Media Studies in person because you get a better experience than online. I didn't like online school last year because I am more of a hands on, in class type of student. I work hard and always try my best in whatever the task at hand is. I have never taken a class like AICE Media Studies before, so I am excited to see what this class is all about. I tend to do things that are out of my comfort zone and see what is out there. I decided to be open minded about AICE Media Studies and I believe I made a good choice.
