For the music video I am working with the same people from the commercial project. I am in a group with Sofia Grajales, Camille Keith, and Siena Zimmerman. Siena is a new addition to our group. Also, she had media studies 2nd period and the rest of us have it 3rd period. I hope that we can find time to work together during class because it might be difficult being in different classes. Plus, Camille has been quarantined for the past week. She has COVID-19 and we don’t know how long she will be out for.  I am working with Sofia and Camille again because they are really good groupmates. I had a lot of fun working with them on the last project, so I decided to do this project with them. We also did very good on our project and work well together. We all have the same ideas and mostly agree on everything. Since we are all good friends there is very little doubt they will let me down in this project. I am a very hard worker especially when it comes to group projects. I always make sure to do my part. I made a group chat with all of us so we can communicate better and we discussed which song to choose. We didn’t have to discuss for long because once I suggested “Perfect Day” by Hoku, we all agreed to do that one. I love this song and I know we can do a lot of creative things with it. It is played in one of my favorite movies of all time, Legally Blonde. Now all we have to do is find time because between my cheer and Camille and Siena’s dance, it might be hard.

Filming With Sofia

Thursday was also the day that Sofia and I filmed together. First we had to get the scene with Lauren on the TV. I had to go on my phone and connect it to the TV so we could get the first scene on it. I had to email it to Lauren then go on her computer and that's how it connected to the TV. Once I got it on the TV we started scene two. I changed into jean shorts and a brown shirt. I also put on my Converse. We sat on Lauren's couch and I put the remote right next to me. I got my tripod and angled it to how I wanted. Originally we wanted to have Lauren move with us, but I decided that she should just stay there. I pressed the record button and went to the couch. I told Lauren to play the last ten seconds. After doing the scene three times, I realized that I wanted to change our lines. Messy Makeup and Crazy Clothes

The countdown of starting to film the final task video has begun. I decided it would be a good idea to start gathering the props, makeup, and costumes necessary. Out of the four of us, I would say I have the widest range, and best closet to use. I went through a massive makeup obsession about three years ago and received a bunch of makeup. Yesterday, I decided to go through it and pick out some good palettes. I chose the “Conspiracy” palette by Jeffree Star and the “Morphe x James Charles” palette. It has all kinds of blues, yellows, whites, purples, reds, and blacks. Then I looked up some makeup tutorials on YouTube to test out how to make fake bruises and marks. It turned out way better than I thought. Then I went onto the costumes. I used some from my closet and some from the clothes I bought this weekend with the intent to use it for the video. For the commercial project I am working with Sofia Grajales and Camille Keith. I just recently met the two of them though. Even though we just met, we are already the best of friends. We enjoy each others company and always have a great time when we are together. However, I haven't worked with them on a school project or assignment before. Working with friends can be tricky because it is easier to get sidetracked. Also, I don't know how their dedication is in school and how well they preform. Although, I am good at staying on task and making sure everything is getting done. Since we are all good friends there is very little doubt they will let me down in this project. I am a very hard worker especially when it comes to group projects. I always make sure to do my part. I hope that my partners have the same mentality as me because if they do we can work wonders on this project. I can only hope that they work well in groups.
