Our Pitch

Pitch A:

After Riley Scott was found “dead” after being missing for 3 months, Sophie Walker mysteriously disappeared after unexpectedly running into her dead friend.

We feel that we can be very creative with this film. It leaves a lot of room for us to do whatever we want. Also, it is similar, yet different from other films. We can get a lot of inspiration from other films with this pitch. The only bad thing is sometimes this can be too “ideal”. We don’t want it to be “too basic” or “too much”.

Pitch B:

When Molly’s best friend Jenny moved back home after leaving 5 years ago, the huge question “is if that connection is still there?” pops up.

This pitch is one we feel would be fun and interesting to make. Its something that isn’t too flashy of a storyline which will stand out on its own. We think it would really help us learn how to use and challenge more conventions in our films. We also feel that this pitch is more basic than the other one. Also, it isn’t as creative as Pitch A.

We choose Pitch A: After Riley Scott was found “dead” after being missing for 3 months, Sophie Walker mysteriously disappeared after unexpectedly running into her “dead” friend. We feel it is the best move creatively and intellectually.
