Storyboard

First shot: This shot is at eye level and is a news broadcast that “Dakota” is reporting Alexandra Delgado is found dead after being missing. The first two titles pop up 


Second shot: This shot is a medium close up and is the intro of scene two. It shows the broadcast on TV 


Third shot: This shot is an over the shoulder shot and “Sophie” turns off the TV 


Fourth shot: This shot is a two shot and a medium shot. They both agree they have to get ready for “Alex’s” funeral tomorrow and leave the room. 


Fifth shot: This shot is the third scene and is split screen. Both girls, “Sophie” and “Riley” wake up at 7:00 am for “Alex’s” funeral.  


Sixth shot: This shot is a split screen. This will present the costume credits, while showing “Sophie” and “Riley” getting their planned outfits for the funeral.  


Seventh shot: This is a split screen and will show “Sophie” and “Riley” walking into the bathroom, fully dressed.  


Eighth shot: It will be a split screen and a close up of “Sophie” and “Riley” getting ready for the funeral. In this shot, we will show “Sophie” and “Riley” brushing their hair.  


Nineth shot: This shot is a split screen and an extreme close-up. In this shot we will show “Sophie” putting on mascara and “Riley” will be putting on mascara.  


Tenth shot: This shot will be a split screen and over the shoulder. Both of the characters will be walking out the door to go to the funeral.  


Eleventh shot: This shot is going to be a split screen. "Sophie" and "Riley" will be walking to their car to go the funeral.  


Twelvth shot: This shot is a split screen, which will show the characters driving to the funeral.  


Thirteenth shot: This shot will be an over the shoulder shot and the first shot of scene four. This will be after the funeral, while “Sophie” and “Riley” are looking at Alex’s grave.  


Fourteenth shot: This shot is an over the shoulder shot, while the characters are still by “Alex’s” grave. They will be discussing why “Alex’s” death doesn’t make sense  


Fifteenth shot: This shot is a medium close up shot of “Sophie” and “Riley agreeing that nothing about “Alex’s” death makes sense  


Sixteenth shot: This shot is an extreme close up of Sophie and Riley turning to each other. It’s a split screen containing shots of both character’s eyes. 


Seventeenth shot: This shot returns to a two-shot showcasing both characters facing each other. They simultaneously say, “For Alex”, and turn to walk away. This is the end of this scene. 


Eighteenth shot: This shot is the beginning of scene five. Opens with an establishing shot, showing the outside of Riley’s house late at night. 


Nineteenth shot: This shot is a medium shot, showing riley standing in front of a table. Riley says “Ok, where do we start?” 


Twentieth shot: This shot shows the inside of the home from outside the house through a window. You see Riley and Sophie speaking at the table and hear muffled speaking from inside. 


Twenty first shot: This shot shows Riley saying goodnight to Sophie at the door. Sophie the leaves the house, it being around 12 in the morning. This is the end of this scene. 


Twenty second shot: This shot is the beginning of scene six. It is a high angled long shot, showing Sophie walking to her car and hearing a noise in the distance. This shot will display the title in which the film is produced by. 


Twenty third shot: This shot shows Sophie continuing to walk to her car hurriedly. She whispers to herself under her breath “It’s just your imagination” while fumbling with her keys. 


Twenty fourth shot: This shot is an over the shoulder shot, showing Sophie look up and see someone in the distance. She calls out “who is that?” towards the figure. 


Twenty fifth shot: This shot tracks Sophie walking towards the figure curiously, and soon realizes it is her friend Alex. 


Twenty sixth shot: This shot then shows a better, eye leveled look of Alex. She appears to be worn and bruised, breathing heavily as she stands unmoving. The title of who the film is written by is displayed. This is the end of this scene. 


Twenty seventh shot: This shot is the beginning of scene seven. Shows a reporter, named Dakota banks, reporting the disappearance of Sophie.

  

Twenty eighth shot: This shot is the beginning of scene eight. Pans camera from a high angle, showing a desk full of photos that seem to have been taken ‘secretly’ of both Alex and Sophie. 


Twenty nineth shot: This shot displays a list with several ‘objectives’, then showing someone crossing out the one that reads “Fake Sophie’s Disappearance. 

Thirtieth shot: This shot cuts to a black screen, simply showing the title that shows the name of the director of the film.
