Film Review

Recently, we haven't filmed at all. We are behind and only have a select few scenes done. We only have the 1st, 2nd, most of the 3rd, and the 7th scene complete. Once I pieced together the scenes we have, I asked around. I chose my sister, mother, and a friend. I knew my sister would be the best person to go to. She is always very honest and will say majority of what comes to her mind. When I showed her the video she said, "why is it so short? It doesn't make any sense. You guys clearly have a lot of work to do." I then explained the whole situation. We did give some suggestions about new transitions, because there were only two added. She is an editing pro and she explained to me what each tool does and how to use it. She also said to let lose more and act natural. I got the same response from my mother and friend. My mom said that it looks good, but obviously is unfinished. She said she didn't like the placement of the titles. My friend also thought it was weird that the "YOSO Production Presents" didn't have ellipses after "Presents". Also, that the title appeared at the beginning of the scene instead of the end. My mom pointed this out as well and suggested that we move it to the last few seconds of the scene. I thanked them for the helpful suggestions and tips and can't wait for them to see the final product.

Big Changes and Disappointing Weather

I originally planned to work with Lauren this past Monday. Unfortunately, the weather got pretty rainy this weekend and carried onto Monday. I didn’t want the background to be all gloomy and rainy, so I cancelled. Also, the wind has been out of control. I also didn’t want the audio to be unclear because of all the wind. I was pretty upset, but we are most likely going to film on Wednesday or Thursday. Thursday is the ideal day to film because we have an early release . Also, I made the executive decision to switch Sofia’s and Camille’s roles. It was just better to switch them because Sofia, Lauren, and I live within five minutes of each other. Filming With Sofia

Thursday was also the day that Sofia and I filmed together. First we had to get the scene with Lauren on the TV. I had to go on my phone and connect it to the TV so we could get the first scene on it. I had to email it to Lauren then go on her computer and that's how it connected to the TV. Once I got it on the TV we started scene two. I changed into jean shorts and a brown shirt. I also put on my Converse. We sat on Lauren's couch and I put the remote right next to me. I got my tripod and angled it to how I wanted. Originally we wanted to have Lauren move with us, but I decided that she should just stay there. I pressed the record button and went to the couch. I told Lauren to play the last ten seconds. After doing the scene three times, I realized that I wanted to change our lines. I decided that instead of talking, I would only say "I just can't" and kind of stutter. I would do this right at the end of the scene. Then I walked out of the camera. We got it in on
