First Scene: In this scene, we open with a scene containing a few jump-cuts with hands slamming hand-drawn and colored pictures (4 total) onto a table. They will be placed side by side in line of the beat of a count to 4. The entire scene will be shot at a high angle. 

Second Scene: The next scene we wanted to include two students taking the colored pencils off a desk/table. The location will be inside a classroom but will be made to look as if the students are packing their bags before school. This scene will be a split-screen, showing two different students packing the colored pencils. 

Third Scene: The third scene will be showing the two students putting the colored pencils in the backpack, which will also be a split screen.  

Fourth Scene: The fourth scene will show the two students meeting together and walking into the school, being happy and energetic. This will help add to the fun and happy energy that is created in most Crayola commercials. This shot will be zooming out into a wide shot. 


Fifth Scene: The fifth scene will be shot in a classroom showing the characters coloring a rainbow (using the Crayola colored pencils). One of the characters will knock the colored pencils over, which will lead into the ending action-match shot. 

Sixth grade: The sixth scene will end with a black screen with the Crayola logo. The slogan “The Power of Creativity -Crayola- It Starts Here” will appear under the logo.

Filming With Sofia

Thursday was also the day that Sofia and I filmed together. First we had to get the scene with Lauren on the TV. I had to go on my phone and connect it to the TV so we could get the first scene on it. I had to email it to Lauren then go on her computer and that's how it connected to the TV. Once I got it on the TV we started scene two. I changed into jean shorts and a brown shirt. I also put on my Converse. We sat on Lauren's couch and I put the remote right next to me. I got my tripod and angled it to how I wanted. Originally we wanted to have Lauren move with us, but I decided that she should just stay there. I pressed the record button and went to the couch. I told Lauren to play the last ten seconds. After doing the scene three times, I realized that I wanted to change our lines. Messy Makeup and Crazy Clothes

The countdown of starting to film the final task video has begun. I decided it would be a good idea to start gathering the props, makeup, and costumes necessary. Out of the four of us, I would say I have the widest range, and best closet to use. I went through a massive makeup obsession about three years ago and received a bunch of makeup. Yesterday, I decided to go through it and pick out some good palettes. I chose the “Conspiracy” palette by Jeffree Star and the “Morphe x James Charles” palette. It has all kinds of blues, yellows, whites, purples, reds, and blacks. Then I looked up some makeup tutorials on YouTube to test out how to make fake bruises and marks. It turned out way better than I thought. Then I went onto the costumes. I used some from my closet and some from the clothes I bought this weekend with the intent to use it for the video. Group Blog

For the commercial project I am working with Sofia Grajales and Camille Keith. I just recently met the two of them though. Even though we just met, we are already the best of friends. We enjoy each others company and always have a great time when we are together. However, I haven't worked with them on a school project or assignment before. Working with friends can be tricky because it is easier to get sidetracked. Also, I don't know how their dedication is in school and how well they preform. Although, I am good at staying on task and making sure everything is getting done. Since we are all good friends there is very little doubt they will let me down in this project. I am a very hard worker especially when it comes to group projects. I always make sure to do my part. I hope that my partners have the same mentality as me because if they do we can work wonders on this project. I can only hope that they work well in groups.
