Last class I had surgery and was unable to help out my partners. Today I made it my mission to finalize everything and do the finishing touches. I watched the whole commercial and the end part caught my eye. I thought it looked weird how the words didn't pop up one sentence at a time. Also, I realized the black screen I had put in the end was removed. I added it back in because the commercial needs to show that I have a strong understanding of filming vocabulary. Once it was added back in I got to work on the ending. The last scene show cases the Crayola logo and the slogan. I asked to step outside the classroom and record a voice memo of my voice. I used headphones for better sound quality. I said "The Power of Creativity, Crayola, It Starts Here" which the the slogan. Next I timed up the words with the voice memo. This made each line pop up when I said that line. After I re-watched the whole commercial again and still wasn't satisfied. The font of the words wasn't adding that extra pop that it needed. I changed the font to a more child-like vibe. Then I didn't want the lettering to just be white. I wanted to give it an outline. I chose to use the color green that is around the Crayola logo. After piecing everything together, I loved it and I am very happy with the final outcome.
