Script

Scene 1:  

Dakota Banks: “Breaking news, Riley Scott has been found dead in the Green Tree Forest on the side of 1-95 going north bound. After being missing for 3 months, it has been confirmed that Riley’s cause of death was blunt force traumas to the head. So far, the FBI has no leads.”  

  • - Non-diegetic sound: sounds of cars, bird, outside noises, etc. 

  • - Lighting: Natural lighting from outside 


S2:

- Sophie turns off the TV and looks at Riley 

Sophie Walker: “we better get ready for her funeral tomorrow” 

Alexandra Delgado: “Still can’t believe it” 

  • - They exit the room 


S3:  

  • - Morning of 's funeral and Sophie and Riley get ready 

  • - Incidental Music: instrumental, sad song 

  • - Lighting: sunshine, but slightly shady 


S4: 

  • - The funeral just ended and Sophie and Alex are talking 

Sophie Walker: “this doesn’t make any sense.” 

Alexandra Delgado: “what doesn’t make sense?” 

Sophie Walker: “Everything. How, why, did she disappear? We owe it to Riley to find out.” 

Alexandra Delgado: “Agreed” 

  • - The two look each other in the eye 

Both: “For Riley” 

- Lighting: will be natural lighting from outside 


S5: 

  • - At Alex’s house 

- Lighting: soft lighting, but slightly dark 

Alexandra Delgado: “okay, where do we start?” 

  • - They talk for hours (view from the window) and midnight hits 

Sophie Walker: “its midnight so I better get going.” 

Alexandra Delgado: “okay, I'll see you tomorrow” 

Sophie Walker: “okay, goodnight” 

- Lighting: will be darker to match the “midnight” setting 

  • - Sophie leaves 


S6: 

  • - Sophie walks down the street to go to her car 

  • - A noise rushes past her, and she looks 

Sophie Walker: “huh?” 

  • - Continues to unlock the car when she hears something else 

  • - Takes a deep breath 

Sophie Walker: “it's just your imagination Sophie” 

  • - She looks up again and sees someone standing across the street 

Sophie Walker: “Hello? Who goes there? What's your name?” 

  • - She steps closer and soon realizes it is Riley 

Sophie Walker: “OMG! Riley? Is that you?!” 

  • Riley stands there, breathing heavily looking at Sophie Walker, not saying a word 

  • - Lighting: dark lighting, maybe include white flickering lights 

  • - Non-Diegetic Sound: sound of heavy breathing, wind blowing, rustling, buzzing of electricity 


S7:

Dakota Banks: “Breaking News, Sophie Walker has been reported missing since yesterday at midnight.” 


S8:  

  • - Camera pans on a desk of pictures of Alexandra and Sophie 

  • - Someone crosses off “Fake Sophie's disappearance” in red marker  

  • - Lighting: will be dark and yellow, with only light on the paper that he crosses off 

  • - Diegetic Sound: marker squeaking

Filming With Sofia

Thursday was also the day that Sofia and I filmed together. First we had to get the scene with Lauren on the TV. I had to go on my phone and connect it to the TV so we could get the first scene on it. I had to email it to Lauren then go on her computer and that's how it connected to the TV. Once I got it on the TV we started scene two. I changed into jean shorts and a brown shirt. I also put on my Converse. We sat on Lauren's couch and I put the remote right next to me. I got my tripod and angled it to how I wanted. Originally we wanted to have Lauren move with us, but I decided that she should just stay there. I pressed the record button and went to the couch. I told Lauren to play the last ten seconds. After doing the scene three times, I realized that I wanted to change our lines. Messy Makeup and Crazy Clothes

The countdown of starting to film the final task video has begun. I decided it would be a good idea to start gathering the props, makeup, and costumes necessary. Out of the four of us, I would say I have the widest range, and best closet to use. I went through a massive makeup obsession about three years ago and received a bunch of makeup. Yesterday, I decided to go through it and pick out some good palettes. I chose the “Conspiracy” palette by Jeffree Star and the “Morphe x James Charles” palette. It has all kinds of blues, yellows, whites, purples, reds, and blacks. Then I looked up some makeup tutorials on YouTube to test out how to make fake bruises and marks. It turned out way better than I thought. Then I went onto the costumes. I used some from my closet and some from the clothes I bought this weekend with the intent to use it for the video. Group Blog

For the commercial project I am working with Sofia Grajales and Camille Keith. I just recently met the two of them though. Even though we just met, we are already the best of friends. We enjoy each others company and always have a great time when we are together. However, I haven't worked with them on a school project or assignment before. Working with friends can be tricky because it is easier to get sidetracked. Also, I don't know how their dedication is in school and how well they preform. Although, I am good at staying on task and making sure everything is getting done. Since we are all good friends there is very little doubt they will let me down in this project. I am a very hard worker especially when it comes to group projects. I always make sure to do my part. I hope that my partners have the same mentality as me because if they do we can work wonders on this project. I can only hope that they work well in groups.
