Getting Ready For Three
We finally agreed to film on Thursday which was an early release day and also the last day before spring break. I asked my mother to stay home so I could film with Lauren since she was already staying home. We have a group chat together so that is where all this was discussed. I then asked Sofia if she could ask her mother, but she had a mandatory test she had to take. I then decided that I would go over to Lauren's before Sofia and she would come over once she got off the bus. I messaged Lauren separately and we came up with a schedule. I originally said I would get there at 11:30 - 12, but I woke up later than expected. I was also so tired, that I ended up getting there at 1 PM. It all worked out though because it gave Lauren time to get ready. The night before, I told Lauren to get "news anchor and camera ready" which meant full makeup and hair. I also picked out and packed my bag for the next day. Even though it will say Lauren is in charge of costumes, it is really I who is in charged. I need to get clothes for Lauren, Sofia, and myself. I picked out some gray shorts, jean shorts, a brown shirt, white laced up wedges, and a black dress with a matching black cardigan for myself. I also packed those same wedges for Lauren and a black leather blazer/jacket for her first shot. Sofia needed a black dress so I brought multiple black and a white cardigan, which is for the funeral scene. I also packed my makeup and tripod to make filming easier. When I pulled the tripod out, I realized that part of the light was missing. I asked my sister and soon found it. I also asked her to help me with it because I didn't know how to use it. She showed me how to make it shorter and taller, use the light, and put my phone on the stand. After that, I gather my computer so I could study my lines. It took no more than ten minutes and after I sent both Lauren and Sofia their lines. I told Lauren to study her when she got ready in the morning and Sofia to study them on the bus home.
